Bob
Pinzler gave a presentation at the August meeting for eCitydeals. This company provides Internet auctions, exchanges and
advertising of RFP/RFQ's. The
seller pays a fee in the range of 3%-7% of the sale price for auction
items with volume discounts available. The vendor pays for purchases.
eCitydeals connects the buyer and seller only and they are
responsible direct payment, shipping and delivery of items.
There is no cost to join and eCitydeals only receives money
when a transaction occurs. |
NEW MEMBERS SOUGHTAt a recent meeting, it was challenged to all members to reach out and locate agency representatives who are not currently attending LAMPPAC meetings. Our first recruit has surfaced. Christine Roberto, City of Downey, invited Peter Han of Lynwood to attend the August meeting. All of the members enjoyed meeting Peter and we look forward to seeing him at future meetings. Keep networking! |
