Pete Moffett is founder and President of MyGroupBuy a software company located in Manhattan Beach.

MyGroupBuy has developed a "digital coop" software application that enables coop members to electronically form individual buying groups among members, for any product or service, and proceed through all steps in the RFP posting and award process online. Each group leader has the ability to customize all aspects of each group to fit the needs of the members of the group.

MGB's product saves both buyers and sellers time and money and makes cooperative buying much easier to accomplish.

Membership Dues Now Due

Membership dues for the fiscal year 2001-2002 is now due. Please watch for your invoice in the mail and return your payment promptly. This dues covers our website fees which enable all of us to stay "in the loop" with LAMPPAC.

INFO NEEDED, REQUESTED AND SHARED

Arch Wireless may be making changes to pager account numbers, etc. Please check your bills carefully to verify the information is correct. We have collected comments from members regarding the new contract proposal and will be working with Arch to determine the final contract details. If you have any comments, please contact Gwen Eng, City of Manhattan Beach.

Property Bureau recently worked with Manhattan Beach to dispose of a pallet of surplus computers and netted them approx. $2,000.

City of Fullerton is live with DemandStar as of July 1. Contact Bill Niedfelt if you would like to check it out.

Marc Monforte, LAUSD, will be distributing a new flag contract at the next meeting.

Patty Romo, City of Pasadena is looking for vendors who can handle all maintenance systems for a computer room, ie. security, alarms, sprinklers,

UPS, etc. Please let her know if you have a reputable vendor.
