AT&T PRESENTATION BRINGS MEMBERS AND
ACCOUNT MANAGERS TOGETHER

Larry Lafferty, Global Acct. Mgr. for AT&T Wireless presented the group with some great piggybacking contract opportunities for member agencies.

The Western States Contracting Alliance and the State of California MSA both offer great benefits and deep discounts for wireless service. Some of the features and requirements of the contracts may differ but the essential savings elements are both there. Account managers for many of the member agencies were on hand to introduce themselves and answer questions.

If you are interested in learning more about either agreement, you may contact
Larry at (562) 618-1221 or larry.lafferty@attws.com

INFO NEEDED REQUESTED OR SHARED

Beverly Crisp, City of Buena Park would like any agencies that have good landscape contractors to share their vendor contact information for a bid she will be sending out.

Paul Herman, City of Burbank is looking for piggyback bids or information to share on the following items: chassis-mounted chipper trucks, yard dumps, flatbed dumps and recycling containers (3 compartment).

Gwen Eng notified members to check their bills carefully regarding long distance phone charges. Many of hers lately have been incorrect.

Nancy Pickard, City of Fullerton shared information on a great recycled products coop vendor. Check out their website, www.recycledproducts.org for further info.
