Bill
Gellman, City of Brea, shared a newspaper article concerning
the "portability" of cellular telephone numbers outlining
some potential costs and "pitfalls" that could be experienced.
The article was in the Orange County Register on 11/19/2003

Eng discussed the return label with Arch Wireless and the
account representatives and districe Managers will be advised
that all LAMPPAC accounts are to be issued return labels
when requested. If you continue to experience problems,
please contact Gwen.
Marc
Monforte, Los Angeles Unified School District, has moved
into their new warehouse facility and is now open for business.
The warehouse is located in Pico Rivera and Marc will be
hosting a meeting in the near future for members to tour
the facility.

Richard Hogate, City of El Segundo, is looking for vendors
for silkscreening and embroidery. If you have a good reference,
please let Richard know.
Cynthia
Duprey, City of South Gate, is looking for vendors that
can supply air filter systems for Police Dept. dispatch
centers and well as agencies that lease computers vs. buying
them. Please contact Cynthia if you can help her in either
of these areas.
Paul
Herman, City of Burbank, has printing contracts available
for a variety of printing services. Please contact Paul
for further info.
Bob
New, MTA, is working with a group to set up purchases for
Transportation Dept. supplies and services through the Internet.
