NEWS NEEDED AND SHARED

Kristy Shadle (Burbank) passed out invitations for the March 16, 2006 CAPPO Meeting from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the City of Arcadia and the April 20th meeting Harbor Tour. Burbank is also ready to award a Tree Trimming Bid to West Coast Arborists; Kristy passed around the bid documents.

Felice Fromm (Torrance) reminded us that our LAMPPAC Dues is due for FY 05/06 and on June 1, 2006 the FY 06/07 dues will be due. Please send a check for $100. if you have not already paid for 05/06.

Tracy Hamilton (Irvine) is interested in applying for the AEP Award. Irvine will soon go live with on-line bidding, ordering & supplier registration (Planet Bids).

Mark Monforte (LAUSD) passed out information about the Vendor Fair on April 12, 2006 at the L.A. Convention Center. Mark also provided a list of LAUSD contracts with notes as to which ones are piggy-back able. He also discussed establishing an E-Card with a 72 basis points fro prompt payment/discount. More information to follow at our April 5th meeting.
