NEWS NEEDED AND SHARED

Meeting Minutes:

· There was discussion on various Financial Systems/Programs

· Marc Monforte told us about his procurement trip to China

· Christine Roberto has a new grandson at 6lb. 12 oz.

· Wilfred Cochico discussed his past procurement experiences. Wilfred is also interested in how other agencies established relationships with vendors for emergency purchases, 24 hour contact information etc.

· Marc Monforte reported that LAUSD now has it's own P-Card program with on-line reconciliation

· Christine Roberto reported that Cal-Card will announce a new program in October

· Marc Monforte announced that LAUSD will be hosting a CAPPO meeting on October 19, 2006 at his Pico Rivera facility. They will discuss their new Purchase Card program. More information will be sent to everyone soon

· Tracy Hamilton wants to know if any other agencies use e-Bay to sell unusual items

· Margarita Lee asks that all members bring several copies of their Vendor Brochure to the October 4, 2006 LAMPPAC meeting. Several members have expressed and interest in sharing ideas.
