The following topics were discussed:
Kathleen
Hodge informed us that Costco in Torrance has arranged for complimentary memberships
and will accept a purchase order for the purchase of goods. She arranged this
with the manager and encouraged all of us to pursue this within our own cities.
Diane
Howell is requesting ethics codes from within the purchasing policy/ordinance
be forwarded to her. Santa Monica is looking into adding this to their ordinance
in the purchasing section.
Archwireless
has become USA Mobility and although we are only using the paging contract on
a limited basis, it was felt that it was a good idea to meet the rep for the paging
contract, from USA Mobility. Margarita will set this up.
