announced that 3M Reps will speak at our March 5th meeting on Environmental Chemical
Codes and give demos on products and product safety.

Duprey (City of South Gate) followed up by distributing a news article on California
promoting green products.
Kathleen Hodge (Torrance Unified)
is looking fuel sources as the district will be removing underground tanks. Cynthia
Duprey mentioned that she negotiated a .02 cent pricing below local posted rates.
Felice Fromm mentioned that the City of Torrance may be able to fuel the districts
vehicles and provide documentation. Kathleen also, mentioned that the district
may experience budget cuts.
Darlene Mena (City of Norwalk)
they are still dealing with phone issues on their new system.
Nancy Pickard (City of Fullerton)
wanted information on the CAPPO Conference Pro-D.
Patty Romo (City of Pasadena)
is looking for ratings on Copier/Fax/Scanner/Printer machines. Richard
Hogate said that El Segundo did a fixed rate price contract for 5 years with net
work capabilities. Also, that Xerox uses recycled or remanufactured products in
their machines resulting in eco friendly machines with an Energy Star Rating of
4.0. Kathleen Hodge said that Xerox went to the district to do an analysis.
Cynthia Duprey (City of South
Gate) passed out articles on Ethics (Washington Post) and Local Budgets (New York
Times). She also handed out a CAPPO Meeting Schedule.
Richard Hogate (City of El Segundo)
did a Co-Op Bid for in car video systems for Police vehicles and motor cycle officers
with L-3 Communications.

Lee (City of Culver City) Looking for vendors and bid documents for Carnival Rides,
Tents & Booths, Porta potties, Sinks & Fencing. She is also looking for ideas
on up-coming speakers.
